Brian Buttlett (he/they) has been a fixture amongst Western NY dance floors for years, curating intentionally queer experiences and co-founding multiple community-centered events within the Rochester, NY area. Forged by the Rust Belt’s queer underground and a love for pop music/club/historic dance genres, Brian exudes a dynamically broad sound while sporting the chameleonic ability of adapting his style seamlessly to any setting or energy. His selecting is known for its intentionally queer edge, bright and welcoming tone, revving and vibrant effervescence, and unapologetic playfulness: he’s serious about fun, and he welcomes everyone to have fun together on the dance floor. 

A Rochester native, Brian travels to Buffalo for his monthly residency nights here at 26 dubbed SISTER SUPPORT, held every third Saturday of the month.
